Welcome to Picture Project CLT!

Picture Project CLT is a do-it-yourself (DIY) photography studio, creative content studio, and event venue unlike any other.

Founded by a professional photographer and professional event designer, guests and members enjoy the ultimate photography experience in over 4,000 sf of beautiful designed spaces and over 30 photo opportunities (some which change seasonally).

You can either take your own photos using the ring light and phone stand that we provide, bring your own professional camera or your own photographer, OR you can add on a professional photography package with one of our staff photographers to enhance your experience. We also have an event space for parties and events as well as a podcast studio!

Whether you come by yourself or with friends, you’re guaranteed lots of fun, an awesome experience, and plenty of GORGEOUS photos.

Picture Project CLT is the brainchild of local creators and owners of Sharetha Monique Photography and The Melissa Project Events & Designs. With a love of people, beautiful photography and great design, it only made sense to create an experience for you to come, take great photos, and have a ton of fun.

Melissa is an event designing professional with almost 20 years of event planning and design experience. In 2016, she founded The Melissa Project in Atlanta, Georgia and relocated the business to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2020.  The Melissa Project Events & Designs (TMP) is an event design and planning company that specializes in modern luxe styles and petite weddings.

When she’s not designing or planning the next photoshoot or event you can find her working on her MBA, spending time with family & friends, crafting or immersed in a good book.

Sharetha is a portrait photographer with Sharetha Monique Photography. She has spent the last 6 years as a portrait photographer, capturing expecting moms, babies, children and families in the Charlotte area. 

Sharetha’s photography business also includes a commercial photography sector for business branding, headshots, and real estate photography. At home, Sharetha spends her free time with her husband and children.
