Where are you located?
We are located just a few minutes southeast of Uptown Charlotte. Our studio address is 5648 E Independence Blvd, in Independence Shopping Center.
Where do I park?
We have ample parking right in front of our studio location. Parking for our studio is FREE. Our parking lot is well lit for those who hang out with us into the night!
I can’t make my scheduled appointment time. Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable, but your appointment time can be rescheduled with 24 hours advance notice at no additional charge.
What if I’m late for my appointment?
You can enter Picture Project CLT at any time during your reserved time slot; however, your visit still ends at the specific, designated time. It’s best to arrive on time so you get the full use of your time in the selfie museum!
Do you serve food or drinks?
We don’t serve food or drinks at our location (and you can’t bring in your own—unless you are renting the private event space). If you get hungry, there are several restaurants nearby to grab a bite before or after your appointment.
How does it work?
You will have one hour to walk through the studio, taking as many dope photos as you’d like. Please plan your arrival no more than 5 minutes prior to your reservation. Upon your arrival, there will be a quick briefing and check in.
Do you accept cash at your studio?
We do not accept cash, but we do accept credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay online and at the studio. Admission tickets must be purchased in advance online. At the studio, you are able to add a professional photography package if you didn’t purchase one in advance with your admission ticket.
Who needs a ticket to enter Picture Project CLT?
Everyone over the age of 2 entering Picture Project CLT is required to have a ticket regardless of whether they are taking photos, posing for photos, or just coming to hang out. Anyone ages 12 and under will not be permitted to enter Picture Project CLT unless accompanied by a ticket holder over the age of 18.
Should I bring my phone with me?
Yes! Our studio is an interactive photographing experience, so feel free to get creative with your shots and HAVE FUN! Use the hashtag #pictureprojectclt or tag us @PictureProjectClt so we can see (and repost) your beautiful photos!
Can I bring my pet with me?
Dogs are welcome during our designated Doggie Days. Dogs as well as other animals are also for permitted private sessions and rentals, but require advance notice and approval.
How old do you need to be to enter Picture Project CLT?
All ages are allowed, but children 12 and under must be accompanied by at least one adult (age 18 and over) from their own party who will be in the studio with them.
Do you have an on-site professional photographer?
We do have pro photographers on staff that you can book a professional photo shoot with! You can choose an image collection to add on to your ticket purchase.
What is an Image Collection?
Image Collections are a great way to ensure that you have some professional images from your visit. Image Collections can be purchased as an add-on with your general admission tickets and are available at a significant discount if purchased at the time of your ticket purchase. Images are captured by our staff photographers with their pro gear and include general (global) photo edits.
How soon will I receive my professional photos?
Within 72 hours (3 days) of your General Admission or VIP Admission visit to Picture Project CLT, you will receive an email with your digital proof gallery to select the images you wish to have included in your package. Final edited images will be delivered within 5 days of receiving your selection submissions. Images include light edits [using global adjustments] and are delivered to you digitally.
For events (birthday parties and private events) with professional photography added, images will be delivered within 7 days of your event.
Can I bring my own professional photographer with me?
Yes you can! Your photographer will need an admission ticket as well for entry unless he or she has a membership package at our studio.
Can I book my pro photo session on a different day from my museum visit?
Your pro photo session must be booked during the same time slot as your selfie museum visit.
Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol is allowed in the private event space only (upon reservation of the room). You must have your own alcohol permit and the application must be submitted at least 14 days before event. Obtain your alcohol permit HERE.
