A Chic 13th Birthday Party Celebration | Picture Project CLT Selfie Museum

Birthdays are always so very special, but turning 13 is cause for a major celebration because you are officially a teenager!

We had the pleasure of meeting McKenzie and her Mom who came for a walkthrough of the space. McKenzie’s Mom wanted to celebrate with a fun and unique experience—one that her friends and party guests would certainly enjoy!

When she saw the many selfie scenes and photo opportunities at Picture Project CLT during the walkthrough, as well as the large and inviting event space, she knew this would be the place to celebrate the milestone 13th birthday for her daughter.  We had just installed the new ‘Afro Chic’ photo booth, and the design of this booth inspired one of McKenzie’s gorgeous birthday outfits.  McKenzie’s Mom also wanted to plan a mini professional photo shoot for McKenzie on the party day to commemorate the special occasion!

When the party day came, McKenzie’s birthday crew was very excited! Most had not experienced a Selfie Museum before and were extremely excited to get going! After a warm welcome and a quick explanation of the party plan and how everything worked, the party guests were on their way! Both the teenage guests (and their parent chaperones) had a great time!
